Brief
The 'Get Your Racquet On’ campaign promotes a new, social way to play tennis; hosted open court sessions with no skills, no racquet, no mates required.
Launched during the 2020 Australian Open, Tennis Australia tasked us with creating a fun, engaging campaign to bring everyday people back to the sport.
Solution
Channelling our own sporting insecurities, we captured a relatable sentiment towards the sport through tongue-in-cheek copy lines and a breezy have-a-go attitude. Injecting a definite hint of nostalgia, the highly stylised aesthetic off-set these amateur participants as they got caught up in amusing on-court shenanigans. This candidly unserious approach presents the reality of the casual player; those who simply have no idea what they’re doing.
